Perhaps you’ve seen someone receiving a chair massage at the mall, airport or even a public festival or fair. Perhaps you’ve even received one yourself. If so, then you know that not only is it relaxing but also maybe you can move your neck again or your back doesn’t hurt so much or your shoulder is moving better. Chair massage is usually performed while the client is fully clothed, no oil is used and can be done in a public place, private home, my office, or your worksite.

Chair massage is a much underrated health benefit which is just starting to come into its own. If for example, you get a chair massage prior to getting an adjustment from the chiropractor, he/she will be able to adjust your spine more easily. Did you wake up with a stiff neck? Chair massage may be just the thing to loosen it up and ease the pain. If your chief complaint is your neck and shoulders and you just don’t have time for a full table massage, consider getting 20 or 30 minute chair massage which focuses primarily on the back, shoulders and neck.

Are you planning a wedding or baby shower? Want to make it a really special event? Have me come do chair massage for your guests and on guest of honor (yes, I can do pregnant women—imagine the relief of getting some low back attention). The usual rate for chair massage is $1.00 a minute, however, if hired by an individual for 2 or more hours, I will give you a special rate of $50.00 an hour (rather than $60.00).

Are your employees seeming kind of tired and burned out lately? Hire me to provide some chair massage and see if that doesn’t help enhance their performance and motivation. Again, if you hire me for 2 or more hours, I will only charge you $50.00 an hour. This can be an important part of your “wellness program”.
